This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Custics Singapore Pte. Ltd., operating as Hautuki US (“we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, maintains, processes, and discloses information collected from users when you visit our website hosted on Shopify (the "Site"), make a purchase, communicate with us, or otherwise use our global services (collectively, the “Services”).

  • Customer Support (CS) & Dispute Data: To effectively resolve disputes, process refunds, and defend against legal or financial claims, we log and indefinitely retain records of your communications with us, your order history, and account details.

  • Device & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, time zone, and behavioral data on how you interact with our Site (collected via cookies, pixels, and tracking technologies).

2. Payment Information & Security

All payment transactions are securely processed through our third-party payment providers, which may include Stripe, PayPal, Shopify Payments, or other authorized payment gateways. We do not collect, process, or store your full credit card numbers or raw financial data. Our payment providers handle your payment data securely in accordance with their privacy policies and PCI-DSS compliance.

However, for imperative Customer Support (CS) operations, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution, we expressly retain transaction-related metadata (such as order value, payment method type, and billing details). You acknowledge that retaining this specific CS and order data is critical for our legal defense and is exempt from standard data deletion requests.

3. How We Use Your Information & Legal Bases (GDPR/Global)

Under global privacy frameworks including the GDPR, we strategically process your data based on the performance of a contract, explicit consent, legal obligations, and strictly under our Legitimate Business Interests:

  • Providing Services: To process payments, arrange global shipping, and provide invoices.

  • Fraud & Chargeback Prevention (Legitimate Interest): Logging IP addresses, device IDs, and purchasing patterns to detect, prevent, and blacklist fraudulent actors.

  • Dispute Resolution & Legal Defense (Legitimate Interest): Retaining comprehensive records of your CS communications and transaction history to unequivocally defend Hautuki US against unjustified payment chargebacks, PayPal claims, or legal disputes.

4. Multi-Channel Messaging & Comprehensive Marketing

By providing your phone number, email, or connecting with us on messaging apps during checkout or sign-up, you explicitly consent to receive transactional and promotional messages from Hautuki US.

  • Omnichannel Targeting: You agree to receive promotional materials, cart abandonment notices, and targeted advertising across all available channels, including but not limited to Email, SMS/Text messages, WhatsApp, LINE, WeChat, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and Google.

  • Automated Systems: You consent to our use of autodialing systems and automated software to deliver these communications. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt-out at any time, though it may take up to 30 days for all systems to update.

6. Strict Data Retention & Deletion Exemptions

We do not delete data indiscriminately. We reserve the right to retain your transactional and CS communication data for up to ten (10) years.

Right to be Forgotten Exemptions: If you request the deletion of your data (under GDPR, CCPA, or elsewhere), we may lawfully refuse your request regarding any transaction, shipping, or CS data if we determine that retaining such data is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims (e.g., Article 17(3)(e) of the GDPR), tax audits, or preventing anticipated fraud.

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data, subject to applicable legal exemptions.

  • Strict Verification Process: To prevent fraudulent requests, we require identity verification. We may match two (2) to three (3) pieces of personal information and may require a signed declaration before processing any request.

10. Publicly Posted Information & Product Reviews

If you submit a product review, feedback, or publicly post content on our Site or social media, it becomes our non-confidential property. You grant Hautuki US a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, publish, distribute, and translate your reviews and feedback for commercial purposes without compensation.

The Site is not directed at, nor intended for use by, minors. If you are under the age of sixteen (16), you are prohibited from using the Services or providing us with your personal information.

As an international business based in Singapore, your data may be transferred to and processed in Singapore, South Korea, the United States, Canada, and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate, subject to our internal protocols and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where applicable.
